Please write a unified essay that explains what you think Lee Silver's and Bill McKibben's essays are saying, comparing and/or contrasting the perspective on genetic technology presented by each writer. You should focus mainly on the two texts. Be sure your thesis statement includes the main similarity or difference between the two texts. What conclusions do the authors draw about the effects of advances in genetic technology on modern society?

Please be specific in your answer, drawing on the texts to support your assertions. You should use relevant quotes from the text to strengthen your arguments. You may, if you wish, consider your own experiences and the experiences of the people around you as additional support. However, the main focus on your essay must be the two texts.
